Plexus
Plexus is a multi-client, concurrent planning and project management system underpinned by a relational database, that can be deployed on a network and/or accessed over the internet.
It enables a systematic, joined up process that coordinates the contributions of hundreds of project participants whilst they build, maintain and execute a plan. Combined with a unique scheduling technology, Plexus automatically optimises the information flows across the whole project or programme taking into account constraints and targets.
A key advantage is that it stimulates participants to methodically identify and communicate their dependencies. It gets them to hold the necessary dialogues with one another as they negotiate, plan and execute their information exchanges over the lifetime of the project or programme.
Plexus obtains the buy-in of its users by making their life easier. it successfully engages project and programme participants and maximises the value of their inputs. By doing this Plexus can make the whole organisation vastly more effective and substancially reduce project and programme risk.
Plexus can be deployed independently of other project information systems or to compliment existing PPM and ERP systems. In the latter case, data developed and maintained in Plexus can be aggregated and synchronised with the executive system together with progress achieved against it.
